• We are proud to announce a meaningful partnership between Hoff Coffi and Ysgol Tan y Gaer. As a not-for-profit organisation, we are dedicated to supporting students in developing entrepreneurship skills through the creation of a coffee business. This initiative aligns with one of the core purposes of the Welsh curriculum: to nurture ethically informed citizens of Wales and the world.

All profits from our coffee sales will be donated to the Team 4 U charity, which supports various projects in Uganda, the origin of our coffee. We are also excited to collaborate with Wrexham Bean as our local roaster.

This project is incredibly inspiring. Students have designed the packaging, painted the logo and are managing the accounts, gaining valuable business skills in the process. It’s a win-win situation that makes a real difference.

About Tan y Gaer Coffi

Ysgol Tan y Gaer is an Alternative Provision for young people living in care.

This project supports them in developing essential business skills for the future. They are involved in every aspect of the business, from designing the packaging and the logo to managing the accounts.

This hands-on experience is invaluable for their personal and professional growth.

We are exposing young people to the world of work and raising vital funds at the same time. All of the profits go to support children in Uganda with our partners at Teams4U.

We are proud to work with and support the charity Teams 4 U, which works tirelessly to improve the lives of vulnerable children around the world. By partnering with Teams 4 U, we extend our impact beyond education, contributing to a broader range of initiatives that support children’s well-being and development.

Why would we do this? Why not? We have no extravagant salaries to pay, no shareholders to satisfy; just a group of young people determined to make a difference.

We think this is the most inspiring school project ever. It makes sense for both us and them.

About Teams 4 You (T4U)

In 1990 Dave was moved by the needs of the Romanian children he saw on the TV screen so he put teams together and took aid to Romanian orphanages. In 2006 Dave founded Teams4U to enable many others to be able to have the opportunity and experience of working with and supporting vulnerable children and their families. “I set up Teams4U because I wanted to give people that wanted to help the opportunity to give more than just money” Teams4U has since expanded in several different countries, supporting various different projects through partnerships with local individuals and organisations. As well as taking teams to provide practical hands on support, the charity also focus on an holistic approach to supporting their specific needs through a range of sources (i.e. teams, financial sponsorship, resources, training and development.

About T4U - Develop with Dignity Program

Teams 4 U (T4U) might be small, but they’re making a massive difference! Based in Wrexham, they work with partners in Uganda to support young people in staying in school and smashing their goals. Their Develop with Dignity program is all about giving young people what they need to succeed – and it’s not just about school supplies. Here’s what they’re tackling:

  • Period Poverty: Making sure girls don’t have to miss school just because they don’t have access to sanitary products.
  • Sanitation & Hygiene: Building better toilets and teaching the importance of handwashing (it’s the small things that make a big difference).
  • Health Education: Helping teens learn about their bodies, relationships, and staying safe.
